A DIFFERENT KIND OF LOVE

See
…he loves differently
Raining dew to sew warmth
…in my cracks

II
See
…he loves differently
…giving me space to trace my aces
Making his valid cases in my accepting paces

III
See
…he loves differently
He craves my arms and trusts their strength
…and loves my chest as a treasured pillow

IV
See
…he loves differently
When words make me drunk
He uses hugs to heal my head
…and adds silence to quieten my thoughts

V
See
…he loves differently
Where many see a pleasure bowl
…wanting to eat dry like gluttons
He sees a soul of a creative
…unblemished
…worthy of loving
…noble

V
So you see
…he really loves differently
He shares his heart
…and bears my heat
He gifts his little
…and pampers my soul
So I’ll keep him up until he asks to be let down
For I know bronze
…I’ve seen copper
I know silver
…I’ve worn gold
But he is the platinum I need not sell
…for any wealthy pearl

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
