SUNS AND DAYS

Some suns rise
…they rise through clouds
Some suns rise
…they rise through rains
Some suns are lucky
…to rise through clear skies
But some suns
…some good good suns never rise to bless their days
Still all are suns worthy of mention

II
Some suns shine
They shine through their clouds
Some suns shine
They shine through their rains
Some suns whine and hide
…complaining of their clouds and rains
Still some suns overshine through their clear skies
…forcing others to call for warmth
We still find suns with clear skies complaining
…through their ease
Whatever the mode of your rise
…there are always crises

III
So live through the embers of your rising
…even as some find those embers as burns
For the longer you quit to sit in the pit
…the easier it gets for earth to bury your fit
We live to die to rise in hearts
We don’t live to die to be buried in regrets
So live through your clashes till you crash
But be sure to ride safely and not in a rush
You’re a sun
…which couldn’t control the mode of your rise
But you can live to shape and control the mode of your setting
…to fit your remembrance

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
