SEE ME

See me
See me in the rising sun
…as pleasant rays to bless your days
Please look
…look to see
…see me

II
See me
See me as the purest droplets of every rain
Which falls as tool to cool the wool
…the wool of your anger
Just look
…look keenly
…keenly to see
…see me

III
See me
See me as your moon in your every darkness
…one to lead to show you pathways
…pathways hidden
…missing
…to all other eyes
Just look
…seriously look
…look to see
…see me

IV
See me
See me as the breeze to thaw your frozen
…your frozen hurts
Calling calm to balm your harm
Please look
…kindly look
…look to see
…see me

V
For I know me as your shield
…on your battlefield
I know me as arms
…in your weak storms
I see me as a shoulder
…for your tired head
I see me as ears
…for your hidden fears
I feel me as a bullet
…to strengthen your bravery
I feel me as cushion
…to catch your fall
I feel me as lotion
…to bless your pores
I see me as claps
…to wake your sour sleeping
And that being who’ll act no flimflam
…to sell deception to your affection
So see me
Feel me
Let me be
…there as all you need
…in all you are
…always

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
