CORONA BABIES

I had a dream
…a dream where tongues entangled in rings of passions
…beads tightened into noises of tearing
…slaps got claps as bodies wrapped themselves
…in lust’s raps

II
I had a dream
A dream where many screams produced creams
…in orgasmic streams in which tadpoles turned frogs to log unyoked many into parenthood

III
I had a dream
…a dream where some holes thought wholes
…showed themselves wholesome
…by burning rotten bananas which acted plantains
…to seek the dew of succulent new

IV
I had a dream
A dream where some panties run wild
…after being bitten by cobras thought water snakes
At the full glare of itchy mouths
…and shocked heads
…forcing ‘errrm’ to ghost words in eloquent mouths

V
I had a dream
A dream where many ‘ngɛɛ ngɛɛ’
…got no daddies to tend and fend
Because familiarity had bred contempt
…separating many ones into scattered twos
I had a dream

VI
I had a dream
Where some Tuesday weeders were caught on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Their farm tools unfound in their deceiving sacks
…outing them as walking dead
…in their arrogant manliness

VII
I’ve been having dreams upon dreams upon dreams
And I hope all my characters can cope
…with the outcomes of their boredom games
Because a lifetime crisis after a temporary
…sure can hang even strong necks

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
