OH EX

I know no one can taste the fruit of this tree
And not yearn for it daily by their soul’s decree
But once this tree cuts you off
You need to see all your feelings off
For you were tested and failed
Our ship sunk after we sailed

II
You were not the right tender
You can’t now be a mender
You failed your test as the ground
That this tree should have found
So you need to accept it
As I am now rooted in a ground that fits

III
So stop assassinating my name
For only some few minutes of fame
Stop reducing yourself to bits
Thinking I would catch the shame of a scorned’s bit
I own no shame in a past unbound
And I so care not for a shadow which wants to act like a hound
It was beautiful if you choose memories instead of greed
For there is no honour in your wants but a bitter breed

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
