NECTAR SUCKERS

Daylight enhances

The bee’s nuances

An innocent flower

Smiles like a tower

Thinking it has power

Buzzing in attractiveness

It hovers until the flower gets powerless

It then perches, sits, gets comfy and sucks

Thanking God for its lucks

The nectar weeps

Hating where its soul seeps

Until its shouts diminish

Into the bees beaky finish

That was a smart worker

Who was rewarded sweets as a nectar sucker

Let all flowers take a cue

For after nectar stealing, there’s no one to sue

And sure, all nectar attract bees

Bees who see from far the nectar seas

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

One can take your poetry at face value or see the layers within…what I love about your work…always gets me thinking! So pleased my photos inspire you. Magnificent compliment dear one.

Not naive Lady, I know they are sippers but the symbolism I needed called for the use of suckers. Meaning if a flower blooms (a pretty lady is of age, many prey on her) the sippers are good and the suckers are bad. I hope you get my point.
