The peace and serenity
That was with my completeness
Fled into the arms of the savage
Who squashed and swallowed it whole
The moment my guard was down
And the holder of my emotion took charge
Now I am in need
Of that peace and innocence
My maturity makes me weak
And its responsibility weighs me down
Like a permanent mountain
Which has made my head its natural ground
Take me back to the days
When I loved me and looked forward to tomorrow
Take me back to the days
When many manly figures held their shiny swords to defend me in my fantasies
Take me back to the days
When love’s pain was not in existence in my thoughts
Take me back to the days
When smiles of satisfaction at the slightest deed meant more than gold
Take me there
Please take me there
Oh God of innocence
And I promise to be the best servant there is
In that surreal place which has the picturesque of pure peace

We can and should be a child in our heart. The physical world will always call to make us grow and stand tall. But a child once is and always be.
