A bright star has fallen
It did not have a sudden fall
It was shot and torn to its core
It got visibly so sore
But none, for him, tried a rescue
Many long hands did see it struggling in the sky
No finger tried to touched it
None saw it fit
Until he hid behind a cloud
Even then, others could have searched for it
And saved it
None did
Then it fell
Now look right and look left
Many with beautiful secrets they kept
About this fallen star
But when they called him abnormal
None defended him as normal
When thunders of accusations were wearing him down
Many were silent, and jubilating down town
I never knew so many flowery words could describe this star
It has gone even over the bar
Alexx Ekubo is a lesson
A lesson for all who are life’s hidden piece missing
Live well without guilt
Live even when others throw on you their filth
For many are waiting for your forever silence to let words cry
Showing sides they’ll never show your living eyes
So why swim in their hurt-hounds?
Alexx Ekubo is a living example
…of our chameleonic nature
He outed us all
In his shiny living which ended up dripping
…with judgments and negligence
None has the right to wish him farewell
For he has no ears to hear
The struggling has ears
He no longer struggles
We should bow
Bow our heads in shame
For there is no excuse unlame
To save us from this game
This game of hypocrisy
