NON-STOP WORKERS – For Mothers

Like minds, there are only a set of workers
Whose work do not have breaks
They can’t also be shirkers
In their resolves, there are no shakes
Those workers are mothers

2.
They are medicine vaults
…protectective cults
…sleeping cots
…discipline slots
…food plots
…cleaning tools
…entertaining bulls
…prayer warriors
…with hearts of battlefield warriors
They are mothers

3.
They battle sicknesses on emotional grounds
They battle bullies like life hounds
They nourish bodies with thoughtful crowns
They have no fears in child-hurt-towns
They are Mothers

4.
All heartbeats flowed from them
All that works, is thanks to them
They are the manufacturers of lives
So hail them with your lives
For the continuation of generations
…lie solely on their bodies
Which can be bloated
Which can be maimed
Which can go mad
Which can be lost
And they have hearts
…which can be shaken
Oh so broken
Which can be, for granted taken
And easily misunderstood
Bless a mother

5.
So praise a mother
Thank a mother
Love a mother
Gift a mother
Pray for a mother
On this and all days
For giving you bodies
…which can live today
And giving you lives which have their say
Cherish a mother, today
And all days

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
