He took it from the ground
It was shiny, looked worthy and home bound
He cleaned the tiny dirt off it
And made all chasing it think it was a hit
So they celebratorily cheered him for winning and forgot about it
He took it home and realized it wasn’t fit, for anything
So he started to neglect it
And eventually regarded it as nothing
“Uncle, how does this fit my situation?”
Adwubi asked
I just described you and your situation
It is now left with the it
…to find a fit
…which thinks it a hit
…and will love it as worthy of precious kit
…and help it to be lit
…so it can swerve this shameful pit
Or it can be tasked
To be the protector and picker, and see what fits
Whatever it wants to be, it knows it can be
Now no one tells anyone to fill or flee a dangerous pit
This is all I can say as you sit
…here crying due to all the brutal hits
