GOD IN WRONG PLACES

Is beginning becoming an end
And an end becoming a beginning?
I ask because mouths can’t seem to defend
…things eyes are seeing
As many evils contend
…with piety without meaning

Why am I seeing God on faces of fornication?
Why is God in the cries of many a corruption?
Why is God sitting on thrones of thieves?
Why is God the spice of a man who deceives?

III
Why is God in the mouth of many a murder?
Why is God’s name in the threats of many a shiver?
Why is God holding the shovel of many hurts?
Why is God’s feet deep in much dirts?

IV.
“God” now dupes the innocent
“God” now robs the magnificent
“God” now stalks as He talks
“God” now rides with bosses and hates paupers’ walks

V.
So now God is on the wrong faces
Making his place on the right places unattractive
Oh God now has the wrong traces
Making his people in the right spaces inattentive

VI.
Why He shows no features
And owns not to accusations he features
…in, are questions none embraces
As He sits in the wars of all races

Why is God poverty’s crown?
Why is God used by the manipulative as a clown?

VII.
So I ask, why is God in the wrong places?
Why is God in the unrepentant’s chases?
Why is God in the despicable graces
…of wrongs walking wins through wounding paces?
