WICKED BLESSINGS

Once upon a time, Mmoa Apɔnkɔ
Were submissive servants to all animals
They served all without discrimination but Pigs screamed to authorities “ma wɔn nkɔ”
Calling them all sorts of names including unanimalistic animals

II
And so many other animals began to treat them like mmoa ase
Saying they don’t deserve to have lives like theirs
They began to kill them from ewiase
Claiming their breaths cost less than theirs

III
And so some of the Apɔnkɔ fled
Others remained and always shed nisuo
Some of them sought many a safe shed
But some of them suffered at the hands of owuo

IV
When all the Apɔnkɔ left
The other animals began ntɔkwa
They didn’t want to do the menial jobs they left
And so they regretted and cried as regrets laughed kwakwakwa

V
They started killing themselves
Blaming themselves for their ɔhaw
But the skies shone bright at the Mpɔnkɔ as they found themselves
Even as their former owners lived in ɔyiaw

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
