I am here looking at your shock
With a face which can’t even find a space in this ironical mock
Tell me again your kind of stock
II
You sit at home all day like a handsome sofa
Waiting for my hustled body and sweat
To come clean cobwebs, compound and cook
And afterwards wash your dishes and your hands?
I know not your kind of mastery
But I am not looking for a miracleless man god
…to serve
III
If I wanted a man god to serve
I’d go look for a stone which feeds not
Or a river which calms my soul
Or even a mountain which will tire me out
…without a mouth which speaks with ego to hurt while draining my blood
I could even pick a tree
Which could help me breathe easy
Kwaku Bonsam eii, I am not looking for a miracleless man god to serve
IV
So you can take your waist to man servers
Let them turn you into a night exercise
…so you can act supreme on their toil
You can take your expensive liability to the subdued
Let them worship at your feet
Even when their bodies complain with pain
I am looking for no man god to serve
Even the Most High God tires no human
…as you seek to tire me out
So out you go
With your sluggish self and ego

See how I smiled
Then grinned from cheek to chin
Now I am laughing
