THE SORE DRAMAS IN OURSELVES

Sometimes we scratch ourselves without bites
Getting sores unwarranted
Sometimes we push ourselves to slip and fall
Without a soul chasing our cause
Sometimes we act like lions without a jungle
Incensed by none to act like fools
Sometimes we sit on needles without a force
Wounding ourselves

II
Sometimes we run to tire without a reason
And breathlessly lose our senses
Sometimes we stage a worry in a head for a sorry
Prompted by naught but a pardonable mistake
Sometimes we think we’re watched without an audience
Acting foolish to attract many
Sometimes we cry for naught to sore our eyes
Calling for headaches which were far from our fears

III
Sometimes, just sometimes, we say the worst without being asked
Making us zombies of uncalled for shame
Sometimes we look for debts when all is well
Soiling our peace
Sometimes we act suspicious to be the doubts
When we’re the truthful ones in store
Sometimes, just sometimes
…we think we’re drowning while on dry land
Forcing far fishes to make us robots
We need to relax to see things clearer
…before acting
Sometimes

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
