CRACKEST THOU?

Fist clenched
Toenails coiling
Teeth grinding
Body curled
Shivers hold the centre of my being
In this bearable cold Odomankomah gave
…to cool us

B.
And so I wonder
I wonder how weak bodies thrive in snow
And so I wonder
I wonder how those people think us poor
And so I wonder
I wonder how they can leave their poorest
…to tend to our poor
And so I wonder
Why they do what they do when they need what they give
…more

C.
We need but we won’t die
For God did gave us the very best of weather
We need but we can just thrive
Because God did bless us with great skin
So why don’t you clothe the pale
And splatter them in your papers?
So why don’t you protect your poorest
And leave our poor?
White can crack in a weather in which they lack
Know
Please know
And leave us to grow
By ourselves

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
