AT MY LOWEST

Long life has taught me to give thanks to my maker
…at my lowest

II
Many temptations have taught me to exercise enough patience
…at my lowest

III
Hurts upon hurts have taught me to wait upon a viable solution
…at my lowest

IV
Life which burns has taught me to wait for quenching rains
…at my lowest

V
Cowardly situations have taught me to take brave stance
…at my lowest

VI
For Odomankomah knows my fate
…and state
For Ɔbɔɔadiɛ knows my heart
…and head
For Ɔtɔtorobonsu knew my thoughts
…even from my cot
So I live like a warrior
Who guards and watches
…and fights to conquer
Or thinks to win
…at my lowest
And each day wisens to toughen me up
To fight battles needed to be fought
…so needed to be fought and won
…at my lowest

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
