BUYING INFERIORITY

Afuti Yibɔɔ is praying
Praying for good things to happen
Abla his daughter is also praying
Saying great things must happen

II
Sir Richard White is working
Hoping great inventions will happen
His daughter Penelope is watching
Learning and helping for great inventions to happen

III
God the judge watches
Asking why some of his created brains are calling
God the Master stretches
Wondering why some of his created minds are whining

IV
And so the Yibɔɔs rely on the Whites
The Whites think they’re a people so right
And so the Whites look down on the Yibɔɔs
And receive curses from the Yibɔɔs

V
Now God cares not for those who think not
The Holy Ghost can act not against those accused of the rightful rot
So life moves on and the Yibɔɔs act bought
But they still think it unfair, that their immature thoughts
…push them into inferior cots
