LENSES

Eyes within see what eyes without do not
And it counts for a lot
And so fears drive actions in situations unclear
Forcing innocent citizens to act grasses of fighting elephants

II
Lenses
Eyes within see eyes without as enemies.
Who fears not what they know not?
So sometimes wars are made on scores unknown
And fought on unthoughtful grounds
Just because I see not what you see
…becomes the bone of contention
None wants to acknowledge

III
And so audiences draw their own conclusions
…good or bad
And so onlookers spread their own confusions
…to their circles
And so fuels are poured in senseless fights
And in effect
What was unproblematic grows tensions into gargantuan problems

IV
Lenses
Why can’t we all see from a side?
Perspectives
Why should it hold misconceptions to divide us?
Sides
Why can’t we all talk to clear lies?
Love
Why is canibalistic war the solution to grave misunderstanding?
Lenses
Let me see from yours
I’ll let you see from mine
To see if the world will imitate
To stop the commotion of unruly power play from murderous adventures

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
