POOR WISHES

You think I live to you annoy
So like a demonic praying mantise, you wish me dead
But my death will not make you enjoy
The life you live in your head

II
For you’re you and I’m me
Death, like that sure road is waiting for thee
As it is for me
Death can only be my ever resting phase
Only pushing my star to shine brightest

III
So wish me dead
Only if immortality fed
…you at your birth
I’ve lived and I’m still living
Every second of every minute of every hour of every day
So regrets have nothing on me
Fear has nothing on me
Oblivion has no power on me
Death is that phase I’ll embrace
Should it come calling on me
That will mean God calling me home
…for all the rest I am missing
Will you feel same when it comes calling on you?

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
