As Corona corodes the lives of many
And fear tiptoes in the hearts of all
I wonder why you respond not your call
Nor give an answer to your crying many
Are you, their God, abroad?
II
If many love, trust and care you accord
They surely should your protection and safety afford
If many pray, fast and bow to you belong
They surely should have their safety songs
But they now throng to thrones and long
β¦for power by hurting their lungs
Are you, their God, abroad?
III
Then get the nearest plane
Or catch the earliest train
Oh fly like an awesome eagle
Or vanish back to our world like a powered angel
If you, their God, are abroad
Because skies are gloomy
The future looks doomy
Eyes are scared
And our lives are hanging
Miracles need their timing to convert
β¦hearts rooted in disbelief

Beautiful post. We also had a hard freeze and frozen pipes. And we also had stored gallons of water. That was indeed a miracle. The other miracle was that although our pipes were frozen for almost a week, they didn’t burst. Hallelujah for that!

Miricles do need their timing and I believe there can be small mircles too. We have one here last week when much of the state lost water and power we didn’t lose power and only water for a couple of days. We were able to prepare for the water outage which many did’nt get the chance to do. So many left without water for 10 days, many old and sick in a very bad situation. I look at my life and know we had a miricle in our house.

Wow! In these times? And we cry even if we go three days without water even when we have stored water. You sure had a miracle. Do stay safe.

I love the way the persona distincts themself from the people under reference, serving as just a intercessor.
Poetic flawlessness!
