When you plant a seed
And leave it to feed
…by itself, hoping your deed
…of planting is enough to help it breed
Know you’ve broken the creed
…of care and weeds will gobble it with greed
II.
So is the heart of a child
You need to nurture them in mild
Love to tame their wild
Discipline to empty their naughtiness piled
Inculcate into them stability when riled
And see to it that morality is tiled
…in the heart of your child
III
Neglect their needs
And they’ll act like weeds
And their deeds
Will break your perfect creeds
…to feed on your generational seeds
Forcing you to think curses are the leads
…of your situation, indeed
And you’ll blame phantom greed
…of foes earth is yet to breed
IV
So mother your child
Father your child
Love your child to tame their wild
Nurture your child
Pamper your child
Discipline your child to help their childhood
…flourish like a blossom in lovehood
You’ve yourselves to blame
…if your neglected child acts same
…as a brute, soiling your house with a bad name
Life is a circle of deeds growing to shed
…and planted to be fed
A broken cycle destroys the circle and creates a bed
…of thorns ready to good blood shed

I always come here for inspiration and to be challenged and you’ve never disappointed. You have a way with words that is not only unique, simple yet deep and you lay it all in a manner that makes one see the world through your pen and ink. This is awesome. Blessings!
