HOPE TO COPE

Hope is the rope
…whose scope helps the soul to cope
In trust to unpleasantness elope

II
Hope is like a mental magnet
Which attracts good to burn foul feelings
As the world travels through time
We’ve proven hope is possible
…by beating many a calamity
…and winning many a war with nature and our humanity
Arriving at beautiful relationships we still refine
Hope reigns supreme in desperation
…so let’s hope in order to cope

III
When storms break to hopelessness form
Just few hearts can with hope reform
…stopping the winds which hold the chaos
…to calm the tempers of destruction
So hold onto the lamp of hope
…to cope

IV
For we are not mere clay on bones
We are spirits and souls
…with inner energies which speak to our growth
We are not mere veins and blood
We are positives even in negation
…and light in darkness
So let’s keep our hope
…in order to cope

V
For with hope
We will rekindle light to dissipate our dark forces
With hope
…we can join hands to light victories into cheers
With hope
…we sure can climb mountains of fear to exhale
With hope
…we can beat problems chasing to annihilate us
So let’s bank on hope to work and cope
…in these times
These times when the world hangs us in a balance
…calling on all hearts to unite
…to unite
…in order to save humanity

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
