MILLINIAL HANGERS

As the world becomes easier to live in
With gadgets and instruments which fit in
Life becomes more boring
And living becomes more stressful
Because the laughter which greeted heartily in presence
Will so do so in many an absence
And hearts which beat in greetings through hugs
Will be an artist’s message
…delivered through text
Ovations which will wake to deafen tears
Will surely be from sounds already made artificially
So love will surely be artificial
Sex, a means to release steam
…like one from a covered boiling water
A moment after the cover goes up
The interest will fade
…and regret will replace previous emotions
Loneliness will walk days and nights
As broken toys make noise only to break
So love yourself harder
So suicide’s heels will walk not
…on the streets of your minds
You have it easier only to live it harder
Sorry you’re living at the tail end of civilization
But weep not
There sure are others to follow you
And I pity them if you find no means
…to ease their hardened sphere
