BELIEVABLE LIES

We love believable lies
…compared to unbelievable truths
So we live in the lies and kill our truths
While praying through false channels
…for positive results
What is the formula for this crude mathematical hope?

…and expect to be comfortable in the grave of truth
Bodies and minds get comfy
…with what they’re fed as time adjusts their taste
So live not in houses built with believable lies
And expect the unbelievable truths to be kind
…when their stage shines

Dreaded democratic demonstrations drag dragons
…to become dogs
Lurking likes lick crocodiles to become lizards
Many a pythons have turned water snakes
…because unbelievable truths were replaced with believable lies
Suns never walk on legs to brighten our land
The earlier you brave through unbelievable truths
…to break down the believable lies plaguing our growth
…the better for us all
