ONE BIG TREE

Amidst a storm
Some leaves will survive
But their branches won’t
Some branches will survive
But their stems won’t
Some stems will survive
But their roots won’t
And their survival promise not their survival in their next storms
The world is a tree
Humans are the roots
…the stem
…the branches
…and the leaves
Whoever your survival depends on can cave you in
…in any storm
