FENCES AND FATHERS

Faultless fathers flame-out faults
…and form fenceful friends
Filing forcefulness with flair
Filling feelings with firmness

And their affection drives us through directions
Better pathed to bolden our strives
Pushing dreams to cut out screams
In our Cupid land of love

III
Living in their shelters
Drive off predators
For they’re like bullet proof vests
And honour crests
As their chests serve as rest
For our blessed pampered heads

IV
So we celebrate you
Yes we jubilate with you
On this day as we praise your love
Acknowledging your contributions
…to our being
Just like rainfalls
…you grow the plants we are
Surely our bond will never sever
…in this here life till our forever
