The gin
…gave him a wide grin
…doubling his chin
Although his personality was drowning in a bin
…of societal sin
…marring his win
II
His own kin
Pointed out his sin
But he tossed his hands saying they were many a fin
All in confidence of the gin
Acting like one with a jinn
Alas, his sin has come out in a spin
Tossing away its tin
Defeat on many minds held firm by disappointing pin
III
He called women he’d undressed
And they sought shelter in his drunkenness
He called out men he’d bribed
…like a gong gong beater
They too sought refuge in his temporary insanity
He called out men who aid and abett his cheating
They tried to blink into wakefulness
IV
When he came around
They ambushed him on the way to Agya Kwapiah’s Apio Joint
And gave them their piece of mind
Still, Agya Ntama won’t fall alone
He went to drink with a vengeance
And like an overzealous loud preacher with his mic
…made drunkenness his speaker
Announcing all that is hidden in his mind
…and all the secrets of his powerful friends
To the delight of hawking gossips of Angrofu
