THE SLY SNOW

“Snow which shows no blow of slips
Snow which shows only glow of a throw
Snow which slyly forces knees to kowtow!
Snow a blow and have me thrown
…off
Like a baggage of garbage”
That was the cry of Samantha

II
If only she had watched keenly her grounds
If only she had stopped looking only at her skies
If only she had trusted less her two eyes
If only she had closed her mind to hearsay
If only she had followed not the running shallows
If only she had tried a dig
…with her foot
She would’ve seen the ice hiding like lice under hair
…beneath the snow
But ‘if’ is a dangler always leaching in lateness
…never to ever part from regrets
So she fell hard
…and broke it all
Her pride
Her fate
Her bones
Her heart
Trapping her soul into the abyss of carelessness
While her discerning eyes weep to drown her fate

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
