AS YOU SAMPLE YOUR MATCHES

I felt you
…at a sight
And knew that you
…can be light
…of mine

Ib
From your demeanor
…to the colour of your eyes
From your thoughts
…to the songs from your lips
I felt you
I still feel you
Hoping a one from our two

II
But your readiness is far
And your steadiness is fragile
Matching in every match
Loving in every town

IIb
But I sit here
Hoping you sit and think us fit
I sit here
Hoping you see my face in all embrace
I sit here
Hoping all touches
…will be a reminder of me
I sit here
Hoping every kiss will serve my miss
I sit here
Hoping you’ll see my yours
…and become my home
Are my hopes horses in haunting gallops?
Will they ever serve my reality?

IV
It will hurt to wait to forget you
It will hurt
…to wait to ease you from my mind
It will hurt
…for thoughts to dawn on your unloving
…unneeding
…unyearning
But time serves to tend to wounds
…inflicted by love
So I sit here hoping
…that your failing my hopes
…will be taken care of by time
Time,
…which saw us meet
…saw the separation
…in its unyoked match
And holds the power to all healing

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
