HERE AND NOW

Here and now

Cut the throat of all ailing

And let’s see to their deaths

And take off all their feathers

Cut them into pieces

And throw them to the dogs

After burning all that was taken

So as to ensure we never see their pestering selves

In the future meant for us

II

Here and now

Wash off all slimies which taint your hands

With the soap of bravery

Using the towel of trust

And ending with a mastery of hand extension

To hold, and pull me close

Into the future meant for us

III

Here and now

Just here and now

Pull those covers off your introductory mind

And let them look and be attuned to this face

So they can introduce better

To all those who matter

In the future meant for us
