I’d like to see God as a playful father

One who loves for me to do my desire

And warns when He sees that there is fire

If I hear not, burns bring Him running

II

I’d like to see God as that loving father

Who knows my faults and my strong hold

And knows my doings even before told

And tries His hardest to make me bold

Making sure my sellers never have me sold

III

I’d like to think He knows I’ve rights

And will never force me to his sermons preach

Even though He knows my thorns do breach

His rules to guide, He’ll never impeach

And will never ever see me as a leech

IV

I’d like to think God knows my being

As a creator, my heart, He knows

And no doing of mine His heart blows

And His very smiles in my life makes me know

As my jealousy flows, he smiles in control

And when I curse, he reprimands with a laugh

My heart in hatred, His head he shakes

Telling me stories to put on brakes

His lovely daughter’s haunts in living

V

Never will I see his rules as cruel laws

Roping and caging me to a fault

Hurting and harming me to a halt

I love to breathe, knowing He cares

I want to enjoy all things He shares

I want to think, knowing He gave

My one true mind to build and sail

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)

This is such a nice perspective…it gives me the feeling that God’s in His heaven and all’s right with the world.
I’d like to share this with you:
“I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me.
If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and
if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an
assembly better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm’s length, I draw
near to him a fathom’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at
speed.”

Keep writing. x
