AS YOU CAN

Deeds abound

Calling all around

To pick their choices

In the wake of their voices

Choices of good

Will be the soul’s food

Choices of bad

Will beat the soul hard

So through the torture and the pain

Through the suns and through the rain

Through the Shame and all the fame

Through the smart and through the lame

Like the precious who obey the rules

And who knows that God does rule

Live a moment at a time

Until rest calls
