DEEP WITHIN EACH HEART

Deep within each heart

Are halves searching for their completion

Once time stalls, frights start

And bitterness takes control after yearning’s depletion

Deep within each heart

Are arts to cart the right

To attract even those asleep on many a mat

To be drawn to features loving and bright

Deep within each heart

Are yearnings for wiping off oblivion

After death’s chariots fart

And take them to goners before eyes see their lion

Deep within each heart

Are righteousness waiting to be reciprocated

After leaving its enclaves fat

When reciprocation slims, goodwill is truncated

We are fires

We are ice

We are winds

We are skies, we show our colours before dissipating
