On the eve of Christmas,
Mama pushed me out of the house
In the cold
Never to come back again.
That dawn,
When all and sundry was asleep
Mama opened the door,
The door of no return
For me to depart.
When I was being cheated,
And I thought mum could help
She drove me away
To the bullies
Wanting not to see me
Oh Mama!
I’m still your child
Why am i been neglected?
Mama why?
Mama,I’m still in tears.

My heart breaks for the many children who experience this and who are served a dish of cruelty at such a tender age. A parent who abandons her/his child should be severely punished, for they have just created a wounded individual who will find every step forward to be incredibly difficult.
