I
I travelled to a land so sublime
There was no poignant scent of crime
All things were flowery in their prime
And there was no scent of hurt
II
Grandma gave me a comfortable seat
On laps which sat on her feet
And asked me to listen to the beat
The beat of beautiful sublimity
III
I saw my grandpa who I never knew
Met grandma’s mother whom I never knew
And a host of many who I never knew
And watched my family on a TV screen
IV
They back-bited
Fought as soon as money was sighted
With no intention to get united
We watched awed at their shallowness
V
When they couldn’t stand anymore
They all sent me to the bank of the shore
Making sure I stood at the fore
And told me I had to go back
VI
Tell them, money can’t come here
Tell them, love is our money here
Tell them togetherness is our force here
No matter their wealth, nothing is needed here
And yes, they pushed me, not waiting for my answer
I fell heavily on the pillows of my bed

I’ve seen what money can do turning wine into blood. I’ve seen brothers who were blood no longer want to drink from the same cup. Money will turn the best of people into monster just it’s sake. I hate what it can do . I’ve lost so much because of it. Yet it’s a double edged sword because without it we can’t do much
