I

My heart, like an egg

I gave on feelings unknown

Knowing its dire risks

You held it, like gold

You worshipped it like diamonds

You loved it like God

My complacency

Drove you to your height in fright

Your complains, meant nought

I drove many cars

Like crazy, shunning yours; mine

Forgetting your keep

Your screams were not heard

 I made no effort to see your tears

Let alone wipe clean

Now I sit heartless

My heart shattered by hurt you

For your revenge sake

It’s too late for me

I see clear but have no heart

Done, can’t be undone
