I
When hands touched hands
We hugged and kissed
Laughed and teased
That was what streghtened its stands
II
We fought poverty
Battle sicknesses
Were each other’s blanket
Cried in each other’s arms
Loved truly in hunger
And prayed for the rains to seize
III
Then the sun begun to shine
You cried confusion
Denied emotion
And started to whine
IV
What changed so fast?
What acted like a catalyst of doom?
What was the taunt that turned to haunt?
Back time traveller
Be no fantasy
Just be my tool and take me back

Truth. You are gifted to see the truth that others actively ignore. Well written Cecilia.
