I
Kwaku searched and searched
To steal and have happiness
His search was futile
But he kept at it with hope
Stalking every smiling face
II
He bought spectacles
And bought guns to scare and seize,
Saved money to please,
And bought handcuffs to cuff him
When he catches him at last
III
He went to churches,
Interrogated Imams
He went to all monks
Hired pilots to search the sky
But all yielded no results
IV
He then met a child
And asked about happiness
The child told him this:
Sincerely, it lives in us
You only need to search you
V
Kwaku sat and thought
It’s what the pastor told him
Same for the Imam
He needs to arrest himself
In thought and be so happy

When I looked I never could it was only when I stopped did I feel. But in all of happiness it was still an unknown till I knew in truth what happiness was
