THE PRISON OF MY THOUGHTS

I am no tower

Which wishes to on you tower

I am the river which wishes to flow into your sea

I do not wish to charge you any fee

I am stagnantly on bended knees

 

I don’t wish to take over your movie

I am no fanatic of a movie

I just want to feature in your dreams

Without having roles involving screams

I just want to feature in the shadow of your stardom

 

I’d have wanted to leave you in peace

Like a bird, I’d want to fly at ease

But there’s this fluttering butting cane

Which is driving me insane

And flawing my heels

 

Please have me in those thoughts

We don’t need these hearts in and out of courts

Because time flies only one way

And has no thoughts of looking back any day

Free me from the prison of my thoughts, please.
