With five capable hands waiting at every step to lead you to the top
And determined souls never think of a stop
For it is a place to battle with one’s self to shed many an imperfection
A good atmosphere with impactful but many a measured correction
…from all sides which matter

…with sprinkles of addition for perfection
…as a chef spices his dishes
Melts poisonous ignorance from fuzzy minds
The bonus of humour gives it the extra flair
And massages tensed nerves to fit a cheer

The Phenomenal Prof. Okyeso-Yeboah hosting seminars and lectures
…and critiques
Cooked many an imperfection
To a satisfactory state
Just as great cooks plan and execute their skills
…to the smacking of even critical mouths

The directions and roasting of Dr. Anning
Weed paths of colonial impositions and force scholars to judge themselves
…to know the wrongs and rights of their thoughts
…with visions of orchestrated wiring to break chains of mental bondage

What of the impeccability of Dr. Issaka
Who goes into many a sky to fetch stars
…like Prof. Razak Gyasi
…And Prof. Akoto
To add to the moon she is
To lead us through the thorny research battle
…that always seems daunting?
That butterfly with a sauce
…deserves all praises and more

Then there is the crème de la crème of intelligence
Master of Ethnological realms and more
Dr. Peter Arthur
Charging our thoughts to see beyond White tuition
Ushering our minds to our best from the brainwashed rest
Lumba’s skill battling Shakespeare
Kofi Kinata sitting on thrones many a studied can’t
An eye-opener
A master of many a skill

So if we are here from a year of these climbs
And we have drank from the wells of these gems
I hope greatness finds us in our many a field
And humility leads us with many a shield
So we can soldier into completion and thrive on our many battlefields
To raise high the banners these Nyansapos have held
In order to put education on the highest map
