MY SWIMMING SHAME

I’m living
Going places, leaving many traces
Caring not about frowning faces

Scandals?
I wear them like sandals
For I am refined
I am defined
I am crude
I could elude
I am ghetto
I could go Grotto
I am shameless
I could be harmless
I am a head
I could be a tail
This me is success
I could be a fail

So sail on this gossip trail
Your words are the airs
…which fan off my sweats
Your disdain is the fuel which farm my gains
You detest my all
But you will love to be the all

Live
If you so do live
You will be
…the self-loving being with no eyes on me
You may meet happiness
…and dine with fulfillment
And smell life outside your shell
Without my hatred building your hell
This here poem is your bell…

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
