ENCHANTING BLISS

I look at her
She who was thought ugly
Now nearing a time deemed wriggly
And I can’t help but her beauty unbear
Why ugliness stood out of her beauty
…is something age is yet to answer

II
I look at her
Strong from many broken pieces
One who lived under losses as bosses
And walked through chaos to find peace
Still struggling from sudden intellectual dumbness
And I ask how is the mighty fallen?

III
I look at her looking at me
Loved up while her sun is near setting
Wanting nothing but an oblivion that is settling
And I see matured immaturities
…forming fulfilments in an uncertain setting

IV
I say this is life
Life lived in lies, loss and love
I say these are eyes
Eyes which saw not importance but fickle
…until late
This is she
She who is me in matured miles
If this mirror had hidden me as I hid me
…under piles of insults and excuses
I wouldn’t have found me
In this enchanting bliss

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
