Whatever the meaning of adults being children before seeing the kingdom of God
I really need to know before serving God
What is it about children?
They whose only currency is adorability which can’t buy zilch
Yet are filled with seeds of tiredness they sow in hands which tend to their wake to their belch
…right to their sleep
They who choose the most inappropriate times to lay their complaints
Emptying their bowels when food is sweetest
Wanting to play when sleep is sweetest
Mostly crying without a reason when crowds are quietest
II.
What is it about a child that God so loves?
The innocence they so use to be destructive?
The lack of communication which they use to throw tantrums?
Their smiles which mostly are as a result of their mischief
…or someone acting clown for their entertainment?
Or could it be their angelic sleep times
…where all tiptoe
…doors act careful
…voices hush
…as everything stands still?
III.
What makes children qualify into the kingdom of heaven?
Could it be their loose tongues
…which unfold to let the world know all the secrets
…their ears have heard?
Or their torturing which force anger
…only for them to fold and hold and force their love to be sold?
Or could it be their selfishness?
How they want what they want and will take no without making a fuss?
Maybe it might be the clothes they wash with dirt
Or the danger bells they hang in hearts of their parents?
IV.
It can’t be their boundary-less love which chases their loved ones
…to even places of convenience
I see not their qualifications
So I’m still searching
Let those with answers help this confused head
For children are innocent terrorists
Adults who emulate them will be called impossible non-humans
As all thinking humans will flee their presence

You’ve a point. But trusting blindly is not only dangerous but can be deemed foolish. No?

Of course, but the opposite of trusting blindly (faith) is suspicion. Children don’t necessarily wear that armour unless they are trained to by their elders and peers. They can be open to all – without condition like “giving someone the benefit of the doubt” – there is no doubt.
I agree that children can be rotten in many ways – that’s why by the time they become adults they wear armour but there is an early stage in their development where their lack of judging strangers (accepting people as being good without questioning the assumption) is hope inspiring. Ultimately they will be correct in the majority of people they will come across.
