SELF SUFFOCATION

When Trees tower above plants
And see them as killable ants
Chanting the land to be hot
Thinking the plants will be fought and caught
Forgetting their roots live in those trees
They will soon realize who pays death’s fees

II
They will soon learn the sky belongs to strong winged birds
They’ll soon learn the land serves as their beds
They will soon learn standing tall is no flying
They’ll soon learn to taste the saltiness in their own crying
Life will soon humble them
But it will be too late to turn the steers of their woes with their many a suffocating stem

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
