There was a world many are pushing to be forgotten
A world where the old lived the privilege of teaching as the young learned
A world where the skilled lived their experiences of leading apprentices and the latter learned
A world where morality had its defined parameters and the world complied
A world where love acted primary in marriages and many couples thrived
A world where temperatures were bearable as many trees and helpful animals lived
A world where school did not mean cheating to pass as students worked
A world where a family had no defined boundaries as the community nurtured
A world where lives were more important than materials as care stood tall
A world where smiles meant fondness as laughter bonded hearts
There was a world machetes and arms were used only on fearful and harmful things
But we are here in a world where everything goes
Good or bad, your spouse can be another’s plaything and the world will hail
Your child can rule your house and the world will clap
Students can beat their teachers and the world will laugh
Criminals can shoot law enforcers and the world will only condemn for a minute and forget
This is now a world where everything is defensible
I’m yearning to know the content of the next world
I hope cannibalism won’t be pushed for the romanticization of the masses

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
