MY VULNERABILITIES

Dear Odomankomah
This humanity that parades my soul
…is weak from hair to sole
So build me like a malleable tree
To bend where need be
So as to live a life worthy
…worthy of you

II
You see, I build my expectations
And I impose them on others hoping for dedication
You see, I live my truth
…expecting others to bear the same fruit
You see, I live in judgement
Of those whose greed make them flip good judgments
But I know judgements are yours
So make me flexible
…to be able to bend where possible

III
For each and his life to live
…and so I should care less how others choose to live
For each and their happiness’ trigger
So I should live, to mine, figure
For life is short and my thoughts need my will
…so I should spend no time
…counting others’ ways
Open my mind
…so I can, my own peace find
And in this life
Let me be nothing like actions I think unfair
Please

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
