MIRRORS OF OURSELVES

Once upon a time, Akyekyedeɛ
And Ɛnwa were found in a tight atwɛdeɛ
When asked why
They couldn’t tell a lie

II
Akyekyedeɛ accused Ɛnwa of yiyɛ
When all he thought of him was fɛfɛ
Ɛnwa said his opponent should try and be fast
Since he had a hard shell which can last

III
Akyekyedeɛ also asked if Ɛnwa has had some nsa
Since he has brought on him his nkonkonsa
And added that he needed to be rather fast
Since his shell is easy to break if even stones fly past

IV
An owl decided to sing on his dua
After witnessing their banter fast turning into threats of “mɛ bɔ dua”
“All one sees is another’s weaknesses
And not their own weaknesses
All one knows is to get annoyed
When what told is too unpalatable to be enjoyed”

V.
All the animals gathered heard in his song the nyansa
And decided to leave the two to find that nyansa
That ended the fight
Which later turned into a joke so bright

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
