FITS OF FIT

“Where will waakye wait
As I eat grass and chew metal
…to fit up this frame which is tugyiming?”
This is the question on many a mouth

II
“The beast of banku bakes bodies
To swell like bread
The force in fufu fills frames
…making them blow up like balloons
We know but what can we do?
So we eat and try but cry and sigh and stop”
They say after seeing a fit other

III
I will buy no pressure for my little leisure
I will buy no hypertension with my mind
For a mind’s satisfaction is what buys a body’s comfort
From the round to the flat to the tall to the short
She feels happier who loves hers
And I so love mine
Enough to make me stare
When queer eyes compare selves to others
Knowing they can take not up their schedules
…and diets

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
