Words which hide behind computer
Can hide heaps of sarcasm
For their intentions are protected by screens
And their real outlook are geographically blocked
And so they appear with pleasantries
But don’t fall for it
II
Before you post a picture
Look to see if it is not the caricature of yourself
For none will candid be
Even if one person does
The terrible hypocrites will mock-defend you
Making you think you’re the ish
But fall for it at your own risk
III
I have seen pictures of beautiful people which have gone wayward
But words dance around them in love
I have seen videos of great people
…so bizarre
With people sprinkling love all over them
I sometimes act judge of my conscience
And ask “Is it your eyes that deceiveth?”
But I close my eyes and open
And still animalistic portraits greet them
But who am I to say a thing?
IV
Etikelenkelen images can have fans like “See fine babe”
Nankonhwia images can get many love emojis
Afurudohwedohwe images can get comments like “You’re so blessed”
As ghost images go with the flow “See real human!”
Be your own scrutiny
For there might be mouths having a field day at your expense
Behind screens with wires
Be your own editor
For you might be a bad joke projecting comic strokes to many
Be your own harsh critic
Post nothing which represents you less
For there are many modeling ridicules posing as likes
…and love
…and care
…and wow
Waiting for your future slip or fall
To unveil their real selves with a vengeance
…which might squeeze the life out of you
