A TELLER’S TALE

Sometimes a teller’s tale touches on tricky tempters
…meant to thrust into taunting triumph with self pointers
By snapping pictures of obscure angles
To make themselves look like angels
Pushing truths beneath piles of lies
To solicit sympathetic cries

II
Sometimes a teller’s tale tackles a truce
To tick adjudicators off to abuse
…the other by omitting important points to confuse
Making all, peaceful settlement, refuse
Throwing harmony into a horrid refuse
For chaos which can never amuse

III
Sometimes a teller’s tale is garnished by sensations
To push powerful third parties in with implications
Twisting simple squabbles into complications
Whose difficulties knot into higher agitations

IV
So let heads judge even when hearts burn
Let thoughts work even as tempers furiously turn
Let discernment dawn even as others, anger fuel
…wanting you to call for a duel
For in every heart is a yearning to be sided
Even when their deeds deserve to be chided
Pushing a good person to turn villain
…out of disdain
And by that pushing for an innocent soul to be slain
So do due diligence until all lies wane

Just a simple Ghanaian trying to find the best in our society. I may be fun, I may be interesting, I may be funny, I may even be foolish or intelligent, but it is all based on the mood in which you find yourself. I believe our minds make us who we are. Know that, pain, no matter its 'unbearability', is transient. Unburden or delight yourself for a while in my writings please. And all corrections, advice and opinions are welcome. Know that you are the king, queen or royal on this blog. :)
